Tusomoza.com — Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the rules applicable to cancellation, subscription termination, refunds and payment adjustments for Tusomoza.com – School Management & Learning Platform.

By subscribing to Tusomoza.com, a school agrees to the applicable subscription, billing and cancellation terms associated with its selected package.

This policy should be read together with the Tusomoza.com Terms & Conditions and School Terms & Conditions.

2. Subscription Plans

Tusomoza.com may offer the following subscription options:

• Free Trial
• Per Learner/Staff – Postpaid
• Per School – Prepaid
• Custom Packages

The applicable price, billing cycle, user limits and other conditions are presented to the school before or during subscription.

3. Free Trial

Tusomoza.com may provide a 30-day free trial to allow a school to evaluate the platform.

During the trial:

• No subscription payment is required unless otherwise stated.
• The school may explore the available features.
• The school may decide whether to continue with a paid subscription.
• The school may discontinue use without incurring a subscription charge for the unused trial period.

Trial availability, duration and included functionality may be changed or withdrawn by Tusomoza.com where reasonably necessary.

4. Cancellation of a Subscription

A school may request cancellation of its subscription through the available account, subscription or support channels.

Cancellation requests should be made before the next applicable billing period where possible.

Cancellation does not automatically entitle the school to a refund for services already provided or a billing period that has already commenced.

5. Per Learner/Staff — Postpaid Plan

For the Per Learner/Staff plan, billing is based on the applicable active users and subscription terms.

Where a billing period has already been completed or charges have already become due, the school remains responsible for the applicable amount.

If the school cancels its subscription, future charges will stop in accordance with the applicable cancellation and billing cycle.

Any outstanding balance incurred before cancellation remains payable.

6. Per School — Prepaid Plan

The Per School plan is a prepaid subscription.

Once a prepaid subscription period has commenced, the subscription fee generally covers access for that agreed period.

Cancellation during an active prepaid period does not automatically result in a refund for the unused portion of the subscription.

Where a refund is approved under exceptional circumstances, the amount may be calculated after taking into account the services already provided, applicable fees and any other legitimate deductions.

7. Custom Packages

Custom packages may have individually negotiated pricing, payment schedules, implementation arrangements and cancellation terms.

Where a school enters into a separate written agreement with Tusomoza.com, the terms of that agreement will apply where they differ from this general policy.

8. When Refunds May Be Considered

A refund may be considered in circumstances such as:

• Duplicate payment.
• Incorrect payment caused by a verified system or billing error.
• Unauthorized charge that can be verified.
• Payment made for a service that Tusomoza.com was unable to provide.
• Other exceptional circumstances approved by Tusomoza.com.

Approval of a refund does not mean that every cancellation qualifies for a refund.

9. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing, refunds will generally not be provided for:

• Change of mind after purchasing a subscription.
• Failure to use the platform during a paid period.
• Failure to configure or onboard the school after subscription.
• Unused days remaining in a prepaid subscription.
• Failure to use available features.
• Suspension resulting from violation of the Terms & Conditions.
• Suspension resulting from misuse of the platform.
• Charges already incurred under a postpaid plan.

10. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If a school believes that it has made a duplicate payment or has been incorrectly charged, it should contact Tusomoza.com as soon as possible.

The school may be asked to provide:

• School name.
• Payment reference.
• Transaction date.
• Amount paid.
• Payment method.
• Supporting payment information.

Verified duplicate or erroneous payments may be refunded or credited to the school's account, subject to applicable payment-provider procedures.

11. Payment Gateway Charges

Where a payment is processed through a third-party payment provider, transaction or processing charges may apply.

Where permitted, any non-recoverable third-party transaction charges may be deducted from an approved refund.

12. Refund Request Process

Refund requests should be submitted through the Tusomoza.com support or designated contact channel.

A request should include:

• School name.
• Account or subscription information.
• Payment reference.
• Amount paid.
• Reason for the refund request.
• Supporting documentation where applicable.

Tusomoza.com may review the request before approving or declining a refund.

13. Refund Processing

Once a refund has been approved, Tusomoza.com will normally process it through the original payment method where technically possible.

The time taken for the funds to appear in the school's account may depend on the payment gateway, bank or financial institution involved.

Tusomoza.com cannot guarantee the processing time of a third-party financial institution.

14. Subscription Cancellation and Data

Cancellation of a subscription may result in the school's access to Tusomoza.com being restricted or terminated after the applicable subscription period.

Schools should ensure that they have appropriately exported or retained any information they are entitled to retain before their account is closed or access is terminated.

Certain information may continue to be retained where required for legal, security, accounting or legitimate operational purposes.

15. Suspension for Non-Payment

Where payment remains outstanding, Tusomoza.com may restrict or suspend access to paid services in accordance with the applicable subscription terms and any available grace period.

Suspension due to non-payment does not automatically cancel outstanding financial obligations.

The school may be required to settle outstanding amounts before full access is restored.

16. Cancellation Due to Misuse

Tusomoza.com may suspend or terminate a school's account where there is serious misuse of the platform, fraudulent activity, unauthorized access, unlawful activity or material violation of the Terms & Conditions.

Subscription fees may not be refundable where termination results from the school's violation of the applicable terms, subject to applicable law.

17. Cancellation by Tusomoza.com

Tusomoza.com may discontinue or materially change a service where reasonably necessary.

Where Tusomoza.com terminates a paid subscription for reasons unrelated to the school's breach of the applicable terms, Tusomoza.com may, where appropriate, provide a refund or credit for the unused portion of a prepaid service.

18. Cancellation by the School

A school may discontinue its subscription by submitting a cancellation request through the appropriate Tusomoza.com channel.

The school remains responsible for:

• Charges already incurred.
• Outstanding postpaid balances.
• Amounts due before the effective cancellation date.
• Any separately agreed contractual obligations.

19. Refunds Required by Law

Nothing in this Refund & Cancellation Policy is intended to exclude or restrict any refund, cancellation or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

Where applicable law provides a greater right to a customer, that legal requirement will prevail.

20. Policy Changes

Tusomoza.com may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in:

• Subscription plans.
• Payment methods.
• Billing arrangements.
• Platform services.
• Legal or regulatory requirements.

The latest version will be published through Tusomoza.com.
